Humanitarian Assistance Report - September 2024
The National Unity Government is proud to announce that, in September 2024, we successfully provided humanitarian aid valued at 1,222 million kyats to those most in need. This report aims to foster continued cooperation between the government and the public in supporting these efforts.
The humanitarian assistance, generously donated by the revolutionary people, was allocated as follows:
- 366.1 million kyats: Emergency food supplies for 101,360 internally displaced persons and civilians affected by conflict.
- 59.5 million kyats: Humanitarian aid for 257 civilians who lost their lives in armed conflicts and 446 injured individuals.
- 5.7 million kyats: Aid for staff involved in the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM).
- 3.1 million kyats: Assistance for political prisoners and their families.
- 721.6 million kyats: Relief for victims of natural disasters.
- 66.2 million kyats: General humanitarian assistance.
In total, 741,604 civilians across various states and regions received support, including those affected by floods and other natural disasters.
