NUG envisions a peaceful and democratic society built on respect for federal democratic principle for all in Myanmar.
Mission
To strengthen the federal democratic principles among all people of Myanmar through consultation with stakeholders to engage in social transformation and promote rule of law.
Goal
To promote good governance, equality and justice in Myanmar Shared Values.
NUG believe in and accept the following values:

Core Objectives
- To promote good governance and justice amongst rights holders and duty bearers through collaboration.
- To support basic assistance and protection to the people of Myanmar through human rights based approach to development.
Humanitarian Affairs
- To provide humanitarian aids and disaster management countermea sures with utmost adherence to fundamental humanitarian principles regardless of race, ethnic origin, sexual orientation (gender), religion and disability.
- To adhere to the international standards and international human rights norms in humanitarian assistance.
- To adopt an inclusive culture and do-no-harm principle in implemen tation of our work. Women, Youths and Children Affairs
- To protect and support women, young people and children from hu man rights violations and to ensure their full enjoyment of human rights. Health Care
- To ensure people of Myanmar have access to the health services they need by providing strategic directions to health actors and coordinate with development partners for supporting people-led health systems, leaving no one behind.
Educations
- To build and implement an effective, diverse and democratic federal education system. Finance and investment affairs
- To mobilize financial assistance that contributes to form the Federal Democratic society to be emerged in line with the desire of the people.
- To encourage the emergence of accountable and responsible invest ment businesses to prevent irresponsible and excessive extraction of natural resources.
Natural resources and Environmental conservation
- To establish a clean and green natural environment and a prosperous social environment that ensures socio-economic development, wellbe-ing, and peaceful coexistence of all the people, including the present and future generation of Myanmar.
