Emergency Food and Shelter Assistance for Flood-Affected Civilians

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government continues to provide vital support to flood-affected regions across Myanmar, including Sagaing, Magway, Mandalay, Bago, Shan, Kayah, Karen, Mon, and Rakhine. This assistance is made possible through generous public-to-public donations.

Currently, emergency food supplies and shelter are being distributed on a household basis to those affected by floods and conflict displacement in Sagaing and Magway. This effort is being coordinated in collaboration with township humanitarian coordinators. Furthermore, the Ministry is working closely with township People's Defence Forces (PDF), PDF units, and local administrative boards to carry out emergency relocations, rescue operations, and the provision of humanitarian aid. These teams are also ensuring timely access to healthcare services in affected areas.
