Emergency Food Relief for Flood and Conflict-Affected Displaced Persons
On September 11, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the National Unity Government began providing vital emergency food relief to those displaced by floods and conflict in various towns, villages, and wards across Myanmar. The heavy rainfall has exacerbated the situation, leaving many in urgent need of assistance. This relief effort is made possible through generous donations from the public and funds allocated from township humanitarian taxes.
Local humanitarian groups, township civilian protection and rescue teams, as well as village, district, and township civilian administration teams are working together to ensure the safe relocation of the elderly, children, and other displaced persons. We deeply appreciate the collective efforts of humanitarian coordinators, volunteers, and donors from across townships, whose dedication ensures that essential food supplies reach those affected by these crises.
Together, through unity and compassion, we continue to support the most vulnerable in these challenging times.
